You can skip ahead by preset stops - acts if you will - but not frame by frame. Only thing I'd like to add would be fast forward and reverse. Otherwise, great picture clarity, wonderful sound, easy to use. Very pleased with this DVD player. Set up fast and easy.
Plugged it in and played movies from both region 1 and 2 immediately. I got it. This is an awesome DVD player. Easy to use.
just moved from the uk so we had loads of pal that we couldnt play works geat no addital codes needed
It is a good little machine and well worth the price. I could even play it through my VCR and use my video enhancer with it. I didn't even have to read the booklet it's that simple. Just connected it like any other DVD player, inserted my Region 2 PAL foreign disc and it played.
The only reason I've rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the build "feels" a bit flimsy. I've had it for several months now and so far it's working just fine. Having said that - nothing has broken with careful treatment. My DVD collection spans several regions, so a region-free player is a must. This was one of the cheapest I could find.
